Then try Echlin OP6613, That's a single wire sender with 1/8 pipe
thread. They list that for a 73 Stag, but they're wrong.

Somewhere along the line, they got their "earlys" and "lates" mixed up
with the TR7 and I suspect the same has happened for the Stag. There's
been an incredible amount of parts number mixups in these cars.

Sujit,

I also have the single prong one. I replaced mine about 2 years ago because it was leaking as well. It didn't leak very much, but because it is right over the exhaust it would drip on it and start smoking. I got tired of pulling up to stop lights and a nice plume of smoke billowing out from under the car every now and then....people would tell me that my car is smoking and may be on fire.....needless to say it got old after awhile. Not as easy to replace as one might think. It is a bit awkward to get to, like so many other things on that car. Make sure to use some thread sealant (or it may already be on it). I think the threads might even be tapered as well.

The part number is GPS117 and British Parts Northwest has them listed for around $3.50...

Best,
Shane R.
