As I receive contributions, I will update this topic to give special recognition to those who contribute, when they Contribute. It is in my (not so humble) opinion, that users who step up and support this site should be timely recognized and thanked.

You may send a PayPal payment to me stagbytriumph@triumphstagclub.org
or you can click here Donate to TriumphStag.net

Of course, regular topic contributors help make this site "content" work too!
Over time I will develop some sort of system to indicate some sort of level of appreciation the supporter has provided, similar to what other sites have instituted. For now I'll use some random terms.

I would like to thank the following supporters of this site to date:

Interesting idea.
However there are a great many valuable contributions made to this list and
for me it seems that a number of people who regularly answer questions and
provide solutions are the very substance of this rather excellent platform
on which to air problems and issues. I am not completely sure they are
looking for some scale that will somehow rate them.
Can you give examples of other sites that have instituted the type of thing
being proposed, and will proposals be put to the readership to generate
consensual feedback.

Hi Peter,
I completely agree that those who offer answers, advice and opinions to
this list are indeed extremely valuable. Without these enthusiasts
questions and responses, there would be no list "content". But also,
without financial supporters, there will be no list of this quality to act
as a venue for the discussions or repository for the content. How does one
place "value" on those?
I think I have outlined those values and who benefits in the "User
Supported" topic.

To give frequent posters recognition, I have been looking into several user
rating systems that rate users based on the number of posts over time.
This will show who the major posting contributors are - that is, responding
and/or posting to the forum, providing of course they are registered users
of this Forum. I only need to find the correct system that is appropriate
for this forum, and is easy to maintain. For one example or user ratings,
have a look at [britishcarforum.com]. I also think that the Club
Triumph site has a user rating system.

On the other side of the coin, this list does not benefit me personally.
For me it is an hour or more of maintenance and research every single
evening, not including those responses I offer. Those who help me provide
this service to you and other enthusiasts definately deserve recognition
and all our thanks so others know just who is helping pay the bills to keep
the site operating - in their behalf - for their benefit.

This site only benefits the users of this list. It is not an entitlement.
So it has always been my opinion that those who benefit can contribute to
the financial up keep, or programming maintenance. If this site can pay
for itself - at least break even, I will continue to operate it.

It is the users who must value or appreciate those who answer their
questions for free simply for the love of the car.

Thanks!
