Steve,
I also used to go to the Royal Oak but it is no longer a pub and so I
think the meets have stopped. The other place we used to go to was the
Moat House on the Alcester Rd which had a large classic gathering of all
types. I think this one is still running as it was mentioned in the SOC
magazine for South Birmingham area.
I stopped going to the South Birmingham meets when they moved to the
other side of Bromsgrove but I really should make the effort to support
the area.
Regards,
Dave

>The last time I went to the Royal Oak was a couple of years ago so I don't know if it's still running. It was a monthly meeeting, I think on a Tuesday (I can't remember which) from about 7.00 pm. After about September it moved to Sunday afternoons from about 3.00 pm. the pub is on the left side of the Stratford Road as you head out of Hockley Heath towards Stratford. It has a huge carpark where everyone met; there was everything from Morris Minors through American muscle cars to classic Ferraris. All very informal and friendly with no classic car snobbery.
